Services We Offer

To become an expert Kiwi driver, you must first get a driver’s licence by undergoing practical exams like a simulated driving test and a defensive driving course in New Zealand. We all need to comply with the traffic rules implemented in the country to ensure everyone’s safety on the road.

From completing your driving courses to getting your driver’s licence — our reliable team of NTZA-qualified instructors will help you every step of the way.

Learner, Restricted, & Full Licence

We assist drivers of all ages and levels, especially students, with the three-stage process of getting a driver’s licence — from acquiring a learner licence to a restricted licence to a full driver’s licence.

Here’s more detailed information about getting each of these licences:

We help students improve their driving abilities by conducting driving lessons in local areas, like motorways and busier areas. For nervous students, we’ll be training them in quiet areas to reduce distractions until they develop their driving concentration and confidence. You must be at least 16 years of age in applying for a learner licence. You’ll undergo a 35-question computerised theory test to assess your knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices and need to get at least 32 correct answers to pass the test.

For restricted licences, you should be at least 16 ½ years old and must have held your learner licence for at least six months. You need to prove that you can drive safely on New Zealand roads by taking a practical driving test.

Finally, you’ll be able to obtain your full driver’s licence and take another practical test of any driving classifications — Class 1 to 6 — to assess whether your driving skills are applicable for motorcycles, cars, or medium to heavy rigid vehicles. You must be at least 18 years of age and must have held your restricted licence for at least 12 months.

You can take other practical driving tests while you’re still in your learner or restricted licensing stage, like a simulated driving test and defensive driving course in New Zealand. These will help you reduce the required time to get a full driver’s licence by 12 months.

Car for Test

We have dual-control — automatic and manual — vehicles available to rent hourly, daily, or weekly for your practical driving tests during your restricted and full licensing stage. We have punctual, experienced instructors providing excellent driving lessons to help you become expert drivers in the future.

Overseas Licence Conversions

We transact overseas licence conversions to authorise you to drive around New Zealand. You must apply at a specialist overseas conversion site by filling out an application form. You need to present any proof of identity and your actual overseas licence, and you also need to pass the theory and practical tests.

You can only use your overseas licence while driving in New Zealand for 12 months from the last date of your entry. Conversion also applies to the classes on your overseas licence equivalent to your New Zealand licence.

Simulated or Mock Driving Test

We offer a simulated driving test in NZ to help you prepare and get a higher chance of passing your practical driving tests — whether it’s for your restricted or full driving licensure exams. Our patient and experienced instructors will guide you through the driving test and point out the skills you need to improve or any critical errors to watch out for.

Truck Licence, via secondary service providers

We also process driver’s licences for light and heavy vehicles such as buses, trucks, trailers, etc. — specifically for Classes 2, 4 and 5. Drivers 18 years and older must get a learner licence and take a practice test to get a full heavy vehicle licence.

Class 2 – this licence allows you to drive a single vehicle over 4,500 kg to 18,000 kg.
Class 4 – this licence will enable you to move a combination vehicle over 18,000 kg.
Class 5 – this licence allows you to drive a combination vehicle with a GCW of more than 25,000kg
